Netflix was also mentioned as the official streaming partner in the opening credits shown in the theater. However, the OTT release date has not been announced yet by the makers or Netflix. According to reports, 'Cocktail 2' may stream on Netflix between the end of July or the second week of August. The film was released in theaters on June 19 and usually the OTT premiere of Bollywood films happens 6 to 8 weeks after the theatrical release. In such a situation, 'Cocktail 2' can be released on Netflix on 14 August 2026. 'Cocktail 2' has been directed by Homi Adajania, who also directed the first 'Cocktail' released in 2012. The trio of Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna are seen together for the first time in the film. Its story revolves around the ups and downs of friendship, love and relationships. Currently the film is running in theaters and its earnings at the box office are continuing. It has been only 10 days since its release and it has made a net collection of more than 88 crores in India. At the same time, 'Cocktail 2' has done a business of more than 143 crores at the worldwide box office. Its budget is said to be Rs 150 crore and in such a situation this film has not been able to recover its budget even in 10 days.
