Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be on Ayodhya tour on Friday. His proposed programs also include darshan and worship at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Meanwhile, amid the ongoing controversies regarding the Ram temple offering issue, there is talk of keeping Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, away from the Chief Minister’s temple program.
In point number 29 of the instructions related to security and protocol issued by the district administration, Champat Rai has been requested to nominate another person as his representative for the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s Ram Mandir darshan-puja program and provide this information on the CUG number of the duty magistrate.
Why was this decision taken?
According to sources, this instruction has come at a time when the matter of controversy and investigation regarding the offerings of Ram Temple is in discussion. This is being seen as an important sign in political and administrative circles. At the same time, the clarifications given in support of Champat Rai also do not seem to have any effect at the moment.
Although, no official statement has been issued by the administration or the Trust regarding the reason behind this decision, but the instructions to nominate a representative in the security protocol have further intensified the discussions. Now all eyes are on the Chief Minister’s visit to Ayodhya and the Ram Mandir program.
