
After the fire incident at Lucknow Coaching Institute, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited King George’s Medical University (KGMU) and met the families of the victims and the injured in the fire incident. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak was also with him. During the meeting with the victims and their families, the CM assured that not a single responsible officer will be spared. Strict action will be taken against every responsible officer.

15 people have lost their lives in the fire incident. Along with this, the CM announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of those killed in the fire and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured.
CM Yogi left the tour midway and returned to Lucknow
Earlier, as soon as the news of Aliganj fire accident was received, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath left his tour of Western UP midway and returned to the state capital. The Chief Minister had gone to Aligarh to attend a program where he was to inaugurate development projects, when he got the news of this accident.
Before leaving the stage, he addressed the people and said: My intention was to stay here longer, but, I have just received information that an accident has taken place in Lucknow and some children have been affected in the fire. Sadly, some children have lost their lives. The administration is engaged in relief and rescue work. Due to this unfortunate incident, I have to return to Lucknow immediately.
Yogi gave instructions for strict action
The Chief Minister said he would visit the accident site and announced that the incident would be thoroughly investigated and strictest action would be taken against those responsible.
When he heard the news, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure proper treatment to all those injured in the incident. He also directed the Director General of Police and Additional Chief Secretary (Home) to visit the spot and give a detailed report of the incident.
