On completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government at the Centre, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma enumerated the achievements of the state during a press conference in Jaipur on Saturday. During this, he said that under the leadership of Modi government, the country has achieved historic achievements in the field of development, good governance and poor welfare, while Rajasthan is also rapidly establishing new dimensions of progress.
In a media interaction program organized in Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that in the last 12 years, the schemes of the Central Government have brought about a big change in the lives of the poor, farmers, women and youth. He described schemes like Digital India, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana as major means of improving the living standards of the common people. Referring to the economic progress of Rajasthan, the Chief Minister said that there has been a significant increase in the per capita income of the state.
CM’s big claim regarding per capita income
He claimed that the per capita income which was once around Rs 69 thousand has now increased to Rs 2 lakh 5 thousand. Bhajanlal Sharma also described the development in infrastructure as a major achievement of the government. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the road network in Rajasthan has been continuously expanded, which has improved traffic and connectivity in rural areas.
Development of the state under double engine government of center and state
Regarding the farmers, the Chief Minister said that the government is working rapidly on the goal of providing electricity to the farmers during the day. At present, electricity is being supplied to farmers in 26 districts of the state during day time. The Chief Minister said that the double engine government of the Center and the State is working with full commitment for the all-round development of Rajasthan.
He said that on the occasion of completion of 12 years of Modi government, BJP will convey the achievements of the government to the public through press conferences and public relations programs across the state.
