Keru Chader said in a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner, ‘Our ancestral lands, which till a few years ago were our hunting grounds where we roamed freely and collected forest produce and the grazing places of our cattle, are now under the control of the Chinese PLA.’ The organization further alleged that China has continuously expanded its reach by building roads, bridges and military camps in the border area.
