
During the West Bengal Assembly election campaign, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee is under attack for his statement about playing DJ. CID is continuously tightening its grip on them. Now Abhishek Banerjee’s voice will be investigated in the DJ threat case. CID had filed an application in the Vidhannagar court to take the sample. The court has accepted the application. Abhishek Banerjee will have to go to court on June 30 and give his voice sample.

While giving his speech that day, he had said, I will see who comes to save me after 12 midnight on the 4th. How much power do these executioners have and who comes from Delhi to save them? A local from Baguiati lodged an FIR at Bidhannagar Cyber Crime Police Station, claiming that Abhishek Banerjee’s comment was provocative and derogatory. Later, realizing the importance of the case, the investigation was handed over to the government CID.
CID interrogated Abhishek Banerjee
Since the case came into hand, CID officers have been seen playing a very active role. Due to this DJ case, Abhishek Banerjee was called to Bhavani Bhawan and interrogated for a marathon.
To unravel the web of investigation, the police also conducted a search operation at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s house on Harish Chatterjee Street. There, the CID officer also interrogated Abhishek Banerjee’s relative Aditi Gayen. Aditi Gayen used to manage Abhishek’s social media accounts. Based on this, the investigating officers believe that his statement is very important in this case.
Abhishek’s voice will be tested on June 30
After examining the digital and circumstantial evidence, CID approached the court to collect the voice sample of Abhishek Banerjee to verify the authenticity of the viral audio-video of the public meeting. After this decision of the court, the voice test to be held on June 30 is going to play an important role in deciding the direction of this case.
