
The meeting of National Security Advisors (NSA) of BRICS countries will be held in Delhi on 22-23 June. China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi will come to Delhi to attend this meeting. China gave this information. This is the 16th BRICS NSA meeting, hence it is considered very important. In this meeting, NSA of BRICS member countries will be a platform to share views together on important challenges related to security. Along with this, regional and global issues will also be discussed.
Actually, the BRICS summit is to be organized in India in September 2026. India will preside over this summit and this meeting is being held in Delhi. China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi was sent an invitation by India’s NSA Ajit Doval to attend this meeting.

Lin said, “In a changing and unstable world, where many security challenges are increasing, the BRICS countries, being at the forefront of the ‘Global South’, are committed to safeguarding world peace, promoting shared development, embracing multilateralism and building a more equitable global governance system.”
He said China is eager to strengthen dialogue and coordination with BRICS members, enhance political and security cooperation, and contribute to global peace and stability. According to government sources, Wang is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and the Director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission. He is likely to meet National Security Advisor Ajit Doval during his visit to New Delhi.

This year, India holds the rotating presidency of BRICS. This group includes Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and United Arab Emirates.
