Due to the Iran War, his flights and travel plans were disrupted several times, but he did not change his decision to go to China and finally reached Shanghai. According to UFOX Travel, a travel company focused on the Middle East, till a few years ago, most of their work was to take Chinese businessmen to Dubai and Abu Dhabi and show them the investment and business opportunities there. After this, many families and schools from UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman have shown interest in educational and business tours to Chinese cities like Shanghai, Hangzhou and Shenzhen. A major reason for this change is social media. On platforms like TikTok, the youth of the Middle East are seeing the modern and technological image of China. China’s progress in AI, electric vehicles, new energy and advanced industries has attracted them. Apart from this, due to ease of visa rules between China and Gulf countries, travel has also become easier than before.
