Chicken Sanju Baba: A very surprising news has come out for the fans of Bollywood’s ‘Khalnayak’ Sanjay Dutt and the food lovers in Mumbai. The place in Mumbai’s Bhendi Bazaar, where people used to queue up to eat ‘Chicken Sanju Baba’ prepared from the secret recipe of Sanju Baba himself, is now locked. On the strict instructions of Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe, who is known for his strict and outspoken working style, the department has suspended the food license of this restaurant with immediate effect.
Everyone wants to know why Tukaram Mundhe’s Hunter went to such a big and famous hotel? In fact, when the FDA team suddenly raided Noor Mohammadi Hotel, the view of the kitchen and cleanliness there was like breaking the rules. According to officials, the kitchen where this famous chicken and other food was prepared had a thick layer of oil and soot on the floor and walls. Flies and mosquitoes were buzzing around the windows and near the kebab counter, due to which there was a huge risk of infection in the food.
Additionally, there was no record of checking the purity of drinking water supplied to customers and the quality of edible oil used for cooking. Tukaram Mundhe is known for his strict image and not tolerating tampering with public health, hence he suspended the license of the restaurant without considering its star value.

40 year old connection between Sanjay Dutt and this hotel
This hotel and Sanjay Dutt The story is very interesting. 40 years ago i.e. in 1986, the owner of this hotel, Khalid Hakim, had invited Sanjay Dutt after the renovation of his restaurant. Sanju Baba liked the food here so much that he shared a special chicken recipe made by him with the owners. This recipe had a unique flavor of spices, Kashmiri chillies and curd.
The hotel owners named this dish ‘Chicken Sanju Baba’ in honor of Sanjay Dutt. The popularity of this dish was such that people used to come here from far and wide just to taste Sanju Baba’s recipe. The famous painter M.F. Hussain was also a fan of the food here. But now the fans of ‘Chicken Sanju Baba’ have got a shock due to the cancellation of the license of the hotel.
