Chidanand Saraswati, the head of Parmarth Niketan, in an interview expressed concern over the theft of Ram temple offerings and defended Champat Rai. He said that till the investigation is going on, no one should be considered a criminal. On this matter, Chidanand Saraswati said that the question is not about trust and system, but about faith. When there is a flaw in the system, people’s faith is broken. Chidanand Saraswati said that the faith of the people has been hurt by the news of theft of offerings.
Peethadhishwar of Parmarth Niketan said that the people who spend every moment in the temple of Lord Ram and live there have done this and have great regret for it. This is not just an economic crime but a great sin. He said that there is no atonement for stealing while living at the feet of God.
Champat Rai’s character is being assassinated
Chidanand Saraswati said that as long as PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath are in the country, they will not let Sanatan’s trust be broken. These people will not let Sanatan be harmed, even if anyone has to be sent to jail. If he is guilty then he will definitely be sent to jail. He said that the investigation should go to whatever extent possible to save Sanatan. As long as the investigation is going on, no one should be considered a criminal. He said that there was assassination in Mahabharata, but Champat Rai’s character is being assassinated.
Can’t doubt Champat Rai
I have known Champat Rai for 45 years and can say that that person cannot be doubted even in darkness. He is such a person who never lives for himself but for the society. The person in the system makes mistakes. The one whom he trusted betrayed him. Chidanand Saraswati said that Champat Rai has resigned on moral grounds, hence his character should not be affected until the investigation is completed.
