
Champat Rai, General Secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, is the target of the opposition in the case of theft of offerings. Amidst the allegations, Champat is rarely seen in public. According to sources, he is currently in a kind of solitary confinement and is waiting for the final investigation report of the SIT. It is believed that he can present his detailed stand only after the report comes out.
According to information received from sources, while talking to close people, Champat Rai clearly said that he will not leave Ayodhya carrying the stigma. My service in Ayodhya has been completed, the temple has been built, but I cannot leave from here with the stain on me. His statement is being considered as his most emotional reaction till date on the current controversy.
Tinnu cheated Champat!
According to sources, during the conversation Champat Rai also mentioned Tinnu Yadav, the main accused in the offering theft case. He said, Tinnu Yadav cheated me. I did not expect anything like this from him. It is said that 80 year old Champat Rai lives in Teerth Kshetra Puram.
A small statue of Lord Shri Ram is kept near his bed in the room. In recent days, when some close people came to express concern about his health and mental condition after the allegations, he pointed towards the statue of Lord Ram and said, what am I worried about? If these allegations have been made, then by his grace these allegations will also be dropped. At present Champat Rai is avoiding public comment and his eyes are fixed on the final report of the SIT. It is believed that after the investigation report comes, he can present his side in detail on the entire issue.
