Centre’s big action against infiltrators, list sent to Bangladesh for citizenship check of 2680 people

The central government has toughened its stand against illegal infiltration and has started the process of sending back the infiltrators. He further said that in many cases, as I told you earlier, these verifications are pending for 5 years or more. We hope that we will soon get a response from Bangladesh on this particular issue, so that based on the bilateral arrangement existing between the two countries, these people living here can be sent back or deported to Bangladesh.

Let us tell you that after the formation of the BJP government in West Bengal under the leadership of Subhendu Adhikari, the action against infiltrators has intensified. Shubhendu Adhikari has said that the infiltrators will be handed over to BSF. Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself has praised the efforts of Subhendu Adhikari and said that if the infiltrators go back on their own, cases will not be filed against them, otherwise action will be taken against them.

Need for global cooperation against terrorism

Along with this, the Ministry of External Affairs reiterated India’s stand on the need for global cooperation against terrorism and said that the countries which are promoting or encouraging cross-border terrorism should be identified and punished.

Answering a media question, Randhir Jaiswal said that cross-border terrorism remains a global threat which requires joint international action. Jaiswal said, “Cross-border terrorism is a threat that the entire world must fight together, and we must punish those countries that support terrorism and those who are promoting cross-border terrorism from their territories.”

India’s strict stance against terrorism

The remarks came in the context of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval’s recent statements during his visit to Moscow. Addressing the first International Security Forum and the XIV International Meeting of High-Ranking Officials Responsible for Security Matters in Moscow on Thursday, Doval said countries cannot adopt double standards in their fight against terrorism and appealed to responsible countries to take firm action against terrorist groups and countries that sponsor them. Or finance such groups. He said that terrorism is one of the most serious threats to international security.

On the other hand, Randhir Jaiswal said that as per our information, 11 Indian ships are still in the Persian Gulf area and 14 of these ships have returned. I mean they were in the Persian Gulf but they managed to cross the Strait of Hormuz and reached India.
