CBSE has clarified that the website cbse.onmarks.co.in which was mentioned in the social media post was not the real evaluation portal. This was only a testing website, which was used for internal investigation and trials.
According to the board, there were no actual copies, marks or any actual data related to the evaluation of the students at this testing site. CBSE said that no information related to students’ marks or evaluation process has been leaked. The actual portal on which the copies are checked has a different URL and no such security flaw has been found in it.

CBSE said that the on-screen marking system has been implemented to increase transparency and strengthen the resolution of complaints. The Board also assured that strong security arrangements and safeguards have been put in place to protect the original assessment platform, so that there is no malpractice or data leakage. What is the whole matter?
CBSE Class 12 student Vedant took to social media to allege that the handwriting in the scanned Physics answer sheet uploaded under his roll number did not match his own. This raised concerns as to whether his original answer sheet had been scrutinized.
Many other students also expressed their concerns after getting photocopies of their answer sheets through the CBSE re-evaluation portal. Class 12 students demanded re-evaluation of their marks, alleging that there was something wrong in the total marks. Later, CBSE accepted the discrepancy in the answer sheets of the students and assured that the correct answer sheets will be sent to the registered email addresses of the students.
