Patralekha Film Hero Sara: Actress Patralekha and Maanvi Gagroo’s film ‘Heer Sara Aur Pondicherry’ had to face a lot of difficulties to get passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This film was initially scheduled to be released on May 29, but four days before the release, the makers postponed its date to June 12. Now it has come to light that the name of this film of Patralekha has also been changed. Now the title of the film will be ‘Heer Sara’.
Bollywood Hungama has reported that this film censor board It was postponed because of this and the change in the name also happened on the instructions of the Censor Board. The report quoted a source as saying, “Some scenes and themes were not acceptable to the examining committee of CBFC. This process was taking time due to which the makers had decided to postpone it for two weeks.”
Why remove ‘Pondicherry’ from the name of ‘Heer Sara’?
The report further states, “It was also said that ‘Pondicherry’ should be removed from the title. CBFC members were of the view that the film had some mature content, which should not be associated with the Union Territory.” That means the film which was earlier known as ‘Heer Sara and Pondicherry’, is now just ‘Heer Sara’.
How long will ‘Heer Sara’ be?
According to the cut list, apart from changing the name, the censor board also asked the makers to remove a derogatory word from the second half of the film. As soon as the makers completed these changes on the request of the Censor Board, the Board passed the film by giving it an ‘A’ certificate. The board had given the censor certificate to the film on May 29 itself. According to the censor certificate, the length of the film is 99 minutes 17 seconds i.e. this film will be one hour 39 minutes 17 seconds long.
Heer Sara is directed by Karthik Choudhary and stars letter account And Maanvi will be seen in the lead role. Apart from these two actresses, actors like Arif Zakaria, Shweta Salve and Nishank Verma will also be seen in important roles in the film.
