
The troubles of former SAP MLA Deep Narayan Singh Yadav have increased. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided several locations of him and his family members in Lucknow and Jhansi. ED has taken this action on the basis of the FIR of UP Vigilance Establishment. ED seized many documents, digital devices and records related to properties during the raid.
The investigation team reached their locations early in the morning. Let us tell you that about 60 cases like robbery and disproportionate assets are registered against Deep Narayan. Presently he is in jail and the grip of ED, Vigilance and UP Police is tight on his entire empire. Deep Narayan Singh Yadav is a former Samajwadi Party MLA from Jhansi, UP. He was elected MLA twice from Garautha assembly seat in 2007 and 2012.
Who is SP’s former MLA Deep Narayan?
Born on 21 July 1969 in Jhansi, Deep Narayan’s political career started as a student leader. On the ticket of Congress student organization NSUI, he won the student union elections from Bundelkhand Inter College. In 1992, he became the student union president of Bundelkhand College. During this time, he came in contact with Mulayam Singh Yadav and joined the Samajwadi Party.
Deep Narayan became MLA for the first time in 2007
In 1991, Deep Narayan became Jhansi District President of Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha. About two years later, he became the President of Jhansi District Cooperative Bank and remained on this post till 1998. In SP, he held the positions of District President, State Secretary, State and National President of Lohia Vahini. In 2007, he was elected MLA for the first time on SP ticket from Garautha assembly seat of Jhansi. Won again in 2012. But he had to face defeat in the 2017 assembly elections.
Dozens of cases like robbery and extortion against Deep Narayan
Dozens of cases are registered against Deep Narayan like assault, threat, extortion, robbery, Gangster Act etc. Till now his property worth crores has been confiscated. Last year in November, Prem Singh Paliwal, resident of Bhujund village of Month, had filed a case under serious sections against Deep Narayan and his brother-in-law Anil uncle and others. The allegation was made that they wanted to grab their ancestral land.
When he (Prem Singh) refused, he was beaten up. Even death threats were made. Not only this, many robberies also happened with them. Besides, extortion of Rs 20 lakh was also demanded. After this, Deep Narayan remained absconding for several days and then surrendered. After this he was sent behind bars. A case has also been registered against him for acquiring assets beyond his income.
