Case of donation theft in Ayodhya Ram temple reaches Supreme Court, request for independent investigation from CJI

The case of alleged theft and irregularities in donations in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple of Ayodhya has reached the Supreme Court. A request has been made to CJI Surya Kant to hear the matter. Advocate Anoop Awasthi has demanded suo motu cognizance of this matter and an independent investigation under the supervision of the Supreme Court. In the petition, a demand has also been made to register an FIR and give instructions for investigation under the supervision of the court to maintain public trust.
