We also see whether kidney disease, heart problem or any hormonal problem is the reason for this. Many times this is the real reason.

When is high blood pressure detected in a child?

Experts say that initially there are no specific symptoms of high blood pressure. That is why it is also called silent condition. Many children are absolutely fine and we come to know about it only when their blood pressure is checked during a routine checkup.

These symptoms are visible

If blood pressure increases too much, the child may have frequent headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, extreme tiredness or difficulty concentrating in studies. Some children may also have nose bleeding. And if blood pressure increases too much, seizures may also occur. Such a situation is a medical emergency.

Doctor Avijit says that parents should not wait for symptoms to appear in the child. If the child is overweight, has diabetes, kidney disease or has a strong history of high blood pressure in the family, then get his blood pressure checked from time to time.
