
After the change of government in West Bengal, ‘egg therapy’ has become a trend. Angry people are throwing eggs as soon as they come close to their disliked leader. This incident has reached the court. Calcutta High Court has ordered the state to make guidelines to stop egg throwing in that case. A detailed report has also been summoned from the state. The court said that to avoid such cases and incidents, the state government and police administration will have to be very strict.
After BJP government came to power, egg therapy and TMC The trend of attacking leaders from the base has started, against which TMC leaders went to court. On the basis of this, the court has sought a report from the state government on these matters and has asked the state government to ban such people.
The court has also directed that if such incidents are happening then people should be identified and action should be taken. Earlier, TMC MP Mahua Maitra had warned that people associated with such incidents would be dragged to court.
It started by throwing eggs at Abhishek Banerjee
It was started by Kalighat Trinamool Congress general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee. After the change of power, while going to the house of the deceased party worker, he was attacked with eggs. His clothes were torn, he somehow left the spot wearing a helmet.
Then the same incident happened with Trinamool leaders in different parts of the state. Eggs were also thrown at Sabyasachi Dutta when he was produced in the court. Eggs were also thrown at Beleghata MLA Kunal Ghosh right in front of the former Chief Minister’s house in Kalighat. A case was filed in the court regarding this incident.
During the hearing of the case on Tuesday, Acting Chief Justice Tapobrata Chakraborty told the state, we have to spread social awareness. What steps have you taken? What will happen if one or two people get arrested?

Justice Parthasarathy Chatterjee said, it is the responsibility of the government to ensure the safety of everyone. In response, the Additional Advocate General said, we have said that no one will take the law into their hands. How will we take action if we do not receive any complaint?
At the same time, lawyer Kalyan Banerjee said that the police themselves are doing this. Police is doing mob lynching and what will people do? An interim order should be issued today itself. These attacks are also happening at sensitive places like airports. The minister himself is saying to throw eggs. What steps has the government taken?
