Redmi Smartphone Price Hike: Xiaomi has increased the prices of its two popular Redmi smartphones in India. Redmi Note 15 5G and Redmi 15 5G have now become more expensive than before. There has been an increase of up to Rs 2,000 on different variants of both the smartphones. After this increase, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of Redmi Note 15 5G will now be available for Rs 26,999. The new prices have also started appearing on the company’s official website. However, no official statement has been issued by the company yet regarding this price hike.
How expensive did Redmi Note 15 5G become?
According to tipster Sanju Chaudhary, Xiaomi has increased the price of Redmi Note 15 5G by Rs 2,000. According to the report, now its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is available for Rs 26,999. Whereas the price of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is said to be Rs 29,999. It is worth noting that at the time of launch, the starting price of Redmi Note 15 5G was kept at Rs 22,999. Whereas its 8GB and 256GB storage variants were launched for Rs 24,999. This means that now the price of both the variants has increased a lot as compared to before.
Price of Redmi 15 5G also increased
The company has also changed the price of Redmi 15 5G. According to the report, now its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is being sold for Rs 20,499. Whereas the price of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model has reached Rs 22,499. Apart from this, the top variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is now said to be available for Rs 24,499. Redmi 15 5G was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 14,999. Whereas the price of its 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants was Rs 15,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. In such a situation, there has been a big difference in the price of the phone in just a few months.
Prices have increased before also
This is not the first time that the prices of Redmi Note 15 5G and Redmi 15 5G have been increased. Earlier in the month of April also, the news of increase in the prices of these two smartphones had come to light. At that time also the price of Redmi Note 15 5G had increased by up to Rs 2 thousand. There was also information that the price of Redmi 15 5G has been increased to Rs 18,499. Now once again after the new prices have been revealed, the discussion among the users has intensified. At present, the company has not officially confirmed this price hike, but new prices have started appearing on the Redmi India website.
