Bulldozer action in Delhi’s Shalimar Bagh, 150 illegal houses will be razed to the ground

The administration has started bulldozer action in Shalimar village of Shalimar Bagh area of ​​Delhi. Bulldozers will be used on about 150 illegal houses here. The people living here were given time till May 30 to vacate their houses. Now after completion of time they are being demolished. This action is being taken to widen Max Hospital and Main Road. Under this, illegal constructions up to 30 meters will be removed. Heavy security forces have been deployed to maintain law and order.

To avoid any kind of inconvenience, 5 companies of CRPF (about 600 soldiers), 4 companies of RPF (about 400 soldiers), women commandos of CRPF (about 200), more than 1000 soldiers of Delhi Police, more than 50 inspectors and about 15 ACP have been deployed here.

Action was taken in Indore also

Similarly, Indore Municipal Corporation demolished illegal houses and shops built between Madhumilan Square and Cantonment area on May 23 to widen the road. Corporation officials say that this action was not taken suddenly, but the entire land was first measured. Legal notice had already been given to the people living here.

According to civic officials, during the action by the municipal administration, several structures identified within the proposed road expansion alignment were removed. Indore Municipal Corporation’s Additional Commissioner Akash Singh said that this action was taken after mapping and issuing notices to the residents. He said that there were about 120 houses from Madhumilan Square to the Cantonment area. These were falling within the scope of the master plan of the road. Notices were issued to them, mapping was done, and after that, demolition action was taken on about 120 houses today.
