
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has resigned from the post of Prime Minister and leader of the Labor Party. Starmer said the question was being raised within his party whether he was the right person to lead the party in the next general election. He said that he has received his party’s reply and he accepts it respectfully. Starmer said that now the time has come for a new leader to take charge of the party and lead it towards the next elections. Why did you resign? Keir Starmer said in a statement that there was a question in my party whether I would lead in the next election. The parliamentary party had doubts about my leadership. People felt that I could not succeed. I preferred those voices. That’s why I have resigned. Starmer further said that I have uprooted anti-Semitic ideas. I have given priority to national security and economy. When I was appointed Prime Minister two years ago, it was a proud moment for me.
