In the match played in Houston, Japan had kept Brazil behind in the first round. Brazil played aggressively but Japan’s defense was strong. After this, in the 29th minute, Kaishu Sano scored a brilliant goal to give Japan a 1-0 lead. But Brazil counterattacked in the second half. In the 54th minute, Carlos Casemiro tried to score but he missed, but after 2 minutes in the 56th minute, his powerful header was converted into a goal and with this, Brazil leveled the score at 1-1. This match seemed to be going towards penalties but in the 95th minute, Gabriel Martinelli scored a brilliant goal to put Brazil ahead 2-1 and in the end they won.
