Welcome To The Jungle Box Office Day 9: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s film Welcome to the Jungle has completed 9 days of release in theatres. During this time, the film has done wonders with its huge collection. There has been only 1 day in 9 days when the collection of the film was less than 5 crores. Otherwise the film has shown good earnings every day. The collection of the film is becoming even stronger on weekends. Last Saturday also saw an increase in the film’s earnings and its collection stood at Rs 7.35 crore. If the atmosphere is good on Sunday, then once again the film would like to take its earnings to double digits.
According to the reports of Saknilk, the film has earned Rs 105 crore on the basis of net collection in 9 days. On the other hand, the gross collection of the film during this period has been Rs 125.02 crore. The film has earned Rs 29.95 crore in terms of overseas collections. In this sense, the worldwide collection of the film has reached Rs 154.97 crore in 9 days. The film still has a long way to go before reaching the theatres, hence a significant increase will be seen in its collection.
Will the film be able to recover its budget?
Earlier it was believed that the budget of this film was more than Rs 300 crores. This was believed to be because 34 actors have worked in the film. But later a new update came on the budget of the film and the director himself Ahmed Khan Confirmed that the budget of this film is Rs 125 crores. This means that this film has recovered its budget within 10 days. Now the film is taking its earnings towards profit. The biggest plus point with the film is that the audience is liking it and it has got the benefit of good word of mouth.
