On this, Bobby Deol said, “When I went to him and while listening to the story, I felt that he will give me the role of a police officer that Darshan (Kumar) played…when he said that you will play Baba Nirala.” Bobby was surprised to hear Prakash ji’s words.

Why did Bobby agree to become Baba Nirala in the ashram?
But Bobby told that he wanted to get a challenging role. He says, “It was a challenge, that’s why I wanted to do it. I got that role. Prakash ji had told me not to watch any video, not to watch YouTube, not even to watch any Baba. When you talk Baba, become unique, it should be such that when you talk, people listen. I had kept only that in my mind. I told Prakash ji to see, give me all these dialogues two months before the shooting.”
Who was the first to be told about getting the role?
When Bobby Deol was asked about the intimate scene, he said, “When I heard the story, I did not tell father (Dharmendra), did not tell mother, did not tell brother (Sunny Deol).
