BJP’s only religion is ‘corruption’… Akhilesh Yadav’s sharp attack on Yogi government

June 24, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on BJP and Yogi government. During a press conference at the party headquarters in Lucknow on Wednesday, Akhilesh said that those who have risen above deception and corruption will lose power because of the same corruption; Corruption is their only religion. Akhilesh Yadav said that the government and BJP are hiring people only for negative campaigning.

He is not concerned about the future of the youth. They are preparing for elections and hiring people just to spread as much negative propaganda as possible. Accusing the political parties of breaking them, Akhilesh Yadav said that they are buying and intimidating MPs to change the Constitution. That’s why BJP is breaking parties. They can go to any extent for power.

BJP wants to remove Yogi from the post of CM

Akhilesh Yadav has claimed that BJP is planning to change the Chief Ministers in three states including Uttar Pradesh. He said, “The BJP high command wants to remove the Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. And they are removing both of them because they want to remove Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.” Akhilesh said that all this is being done as per the plan. Under this plan, the CM of MP is being targeted.

Government surrounded on issue of farmers and elections

The SP supremo said that the government should take appropriate steps to deliver canal water to the fields; They should not ask farmers to change crops. But the government is not providing relief to the farmers, it is just troubling them. He further said that how can those who cannot even conduct elections for Pradhan (village head) conduct elections in November? They will not be able to ensure the supply of DAP fertilizer, that is why they want to hold elections now; They are just seeing whether they can win seats at this time or not.

Government targeted regarding new building of KGMU

Akhilesh also targeted the government regarding the new building of KGMU. He said, I inspected the new building being constructed in KGMU. You should verify this. I found that they are using less rebar; Just look at how many bridges have collapsed under the rule of this government. Meanwhile, a minister was also sacked. That means their power was reduced.

Agra-Lucknow Expressway ruined

Akhilesh said that the riding quality of Agra-Lucknow Expressway has deteriorated. There was a scam in the re-carpeting work, and the quality was compromised. The minister and the government together have ruined the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. There are many problems in this expressway, but the government is not paying attention.
