
Jan Suraj Party claimed that BJP is “scared” of Prashant Kishor after changing its candidate in Bankipur Assembly by-election in Bihar. Prashant Kishore, founder of Jan Suraj, who is contesting elections from Bankipur for the first time, said that there is no power in front of public power, till now people used to run away due to fear of BJP, but this is the first time that justice has been done that the BJP candidate ran away.
Prashant Kishore The statement came when BJP candidate Abhishek Kumar Bunty withdrew his nomination a day after filing it citing family reasons.
The BJP on Tuesday named its youth wing leader Abhishek Kumar Bunty as its candidate for the by-election from Bankipur seat, which fell vacant after BJP national president Nitin Naveen resigned as MLA after being elected to the Rajya Sabha.

The party has now made Neeraj Kumar Sinha its candidate to contest against Prashant Kishore in the by-election to be held on July 30. RJD’s Rekha Kumari is also in the fray.
Prashant Kishor had announced his candidacy for the Bankipur by-election on Sunday, and described the contest as a “referendum” on the performance of the BJP government in Bihar. Addressing party workers in Patna, Prashant Kishor had appealed to around four lakh voters in the area to “vote to bring change”. The last date to file nomination is July 13. Votes will be cast on July 30 and counting will take place on August 3.

Prashant Kishore told that BJP considers Bankipur as its stronghold. The voters here have repeatedly expressed their trust in Nitin Naveen, but Nitin Naveen took no time in forgetting them. He left the seat as soon as he got the first opportunity to go to Parliament.
Kishor rejected the BJP’s claim that after being elected to the top post of the party, it became difficult for Naveen to continue as a member of the state assembly, which is why he was elected to the Rajya Sabha in April.
