Kullu’s Bijli Mahadev: There are many temples of Gods and Goddesses in our country, which are very ancient and contain many mysteries. Apart from being ancient and mysterious, these temples are also famous all over the world for their miracles. One such very mysterious and unique temple is in Himachal Pradesh called Devbhoomi. This temple is built on the high peak of the mountains in Kulla, Himachal and its name is Bijli Mahadev Temple.
The view of this temple dedicated to Mahadev is very charming, but one thing about this temple surprises everyone. It is said that every 12 years a terrible lightning falls from the sky here. This lightning falls directly on the Shivalinga installed inside the temple and there is a loud explosion. Due to this strong electric shock, the Shivalinga present in the sanctum sanctorum is completely shattered.
Shiva takes electric shocks on himself
The pieces of Shivlinga get scattered in the temple. If such a terrible lightning strikes an ordinary stone, no trace of it remains, but in this temple there is no damage even after such a terrible accident. This is considered a miracle of Lord Shiva. According to local beliefs, God protects people by taking electric shocks upon himself.

After the breaking of Shivalinga, a tradition is followed in the temple, which is performed by the priests of the temple. All the pieces of Shivalinga are collected. After this a unique ointment is made. This ointment is completely made from butter, sattu and unsalted butter. The priest mixes these pieces together. Then a thick coating of butter is applied on it.
Within a few days of applying the paste on the Shivalinga, the broken Shivalinga starts appearing back to its old and solid form. Scientists are also surprised to see this thing and know how stones get joined together firmly without any cement or glue.
