
The court extended the hearing date on the anticipatory bail plea of famous teacher Faisal Khan alias Khan Sir in Bihar. On Friday, a Patna court has adjourned the hearing till July 7. Meanwhile, the ban on his arrest has also been extended till July 7. This case is related to the firing incident that took place in the beginning of June. Actually, Khan sir’s coaching institute was allegedly vandalized by some anti-social elements, it is alleged that during this his security personnel had opened fire. The court also had to hear the bail petitions of both Khan sir’s security personnel. Both are currently in judicial custody.
Teacher Roshan Anand’s advocate Satyam Jha said, due to the absence of the District and Sessions Judge, the case was heard today in the court of the Additional District and Sessions Judge. Now the next hearing will be on July 7. Khan sir’s lawyer Arvind Kumar Mauar also confirmed this. He said, the stay on the arrest of Khan sir has been extended till July 7.

Both the lawyers told that the bail petitions of both the security personnel of Khan sir will also be heard on July 7 only. The court had asked the police to submit the updated case diary related to this case and the verification report of the weapons licenses of Faisal Khan’s personal bodyguards. According to the court, the anticipatory bail application will be considered further only after the necessary documents come on record. Till then, Khan sir will continue to get interim protection from arrest.
Members of the opposition group alleged that Faisal Khan’s personal security personnel opened fire to create panic and intimidate the crowd. These allegations are part of an ongoing investigation.
FIR has been registered against unknown people
Following the incident, Patna Police registered an FIR against Faisal Khan, Roshan Anand, their security personnel and several unidentified persons under various sections including charges of attempt to murder and rioting.
There have been many developments in the legal proceedings of this case in the last one month. Faisal Khan had earlier applied for anticipatory bail in the court on June 9. Roshan Anand got regular bail on 15 June. In this case, in the complaint of Faisal Khan, the names of Roshan Anand and his brother Prince Yadav were also included among the accused.
