A case related to major coaching institutes was heard in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Anurag Verma on Monday in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Meanwhile, the arguments on the regular bail application of Gyan Bindu GS Academy director Roshan Anand were completed, after which the court reserved its order. At the same time, while hearing the bail applications of two bodyguards arrested in the case related to Khan Sir’s Global Institute, the court summoned the case diary from the police. The court directed that documents and progress reports related to the investigation be presented.
According to sources, the court heard the arguments of both the sides. Roshan Anand demanded regular bail, while the prosecution presented its stand highlighting the seriousness of the case. After the arguments were over, the court reserved the order and said that the verdict would be pronounced later. On the other hand, in the case of Khan sir’s two bodyguards, the court said that it is necessary to examine the facts of the investigation before taking a decision on the bail application. In view of this, the police was asked to present the case diary.
Khan sir’s bail plea hearing tomorrow
Faisal Khan, a teacher and head of Khan Global Institute, popularly known as ‘Khan Sir’, has filed an application for anticipatory bail in Patna Civil Court fearing arrest in a criminal case registered against him. His application is likely to be heard on Tuesday. Khan sir’s lawyer, Arvind Kumar Maurya, said that the legal process is going on and what happens next will depend on the court’s decision and available facts. It is believed that due to fear of arrest, Khan sir approached the court.
Both guards arrested after video went viral
Actually, a case has been registered against Khan sir on the basis of a viral video. It is being told that in this video shot on June 2, two security guards of his coaching institute are seen opening fire. After the video went viral, Patna Police reached Khan Global Institute and detained both the guards and later arrested them at Kadamkuan police station.

According to police sources, during interrogation, both the guards confessed to firing. It was also alleged in the investigation that the firing was done at the behest of Khan Sir. After this, serious charges like attempt to murder and violation of the Arms Act were added to the case. However, these allegations can be confirmed only after a court hearing and further investigation.
After the FIR was registered, Khan sir had assured cooperation in the police investigation, but after that he was not seen in public.
Protest in Patna
The police searched many places including his coaching centre, but he was not found. Protests have also been seen in Patna regarding this matter. Some students are demanding the arrest of Khan sir, while some others are protesting against the arrest of Roshan Anand, director of Gyan Bindu GS Academy.
What is the whole matter?
It is noteworthy that this entire controversy started after the incident of vandalism and fighting at Khan Global Institute on the night of June 2. Initially Khan sir had claimed that there was firing, but later he withdrew his statement. Meanwhile, the video that surfaced on social media gave a new twist to the matter. Due to this, the scope of investigation increased and Khan Sir himself came at the center of investigation.
