
There is a huge uproar over the alleged encounter of Bharat Tiwari in Biloti village of Bhojpur district of Bihar. Politics is also taking place on this matter. Along with the opposition, many leaders in power are also raising questions on this matter. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the encounter, which has been heard soon. Referring to this case, Supreme Court lawyer Vishal Tiwari has appealed for an early hearing.
During the hearing of the case, Justice B.V. The bench of Justice Nagarathna and Justice Joymalya Bagchi directed the petitioner to place the matter before the Registrar. In the petition, a demand has been made to register an FIR against the guilty policemen involved in the alleged encounter of Bharat Tiwari. Besides, action has also been demanded against the officers present at the spot at the time of the incident. The petition has also demanded an investigation into the alleged full and half encounter cases that took place in Uttar Pradesh.

Petitioner Vishal Tiwari argues that in such cases, investigation under judicial supervision is necessary to maintain the rule of law and protect human rights. He has called for a CBI investigation, FIR against the concerned policemen and formation of an independent investigation committee under the supervision of a retired judge of the Supreme Court, calling the encounter fake.

Here, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Ashwini Choubey said that if Bharat Tiwari had surrendered and he did not have any weapon then why did the police open fire. Arrah MP Sudama Prasad has also described the encounter as suspicious, citing video footage and other evidence. However, the administration says that Bharat Tiwari opened fire on the police team that had gone to arrest him, in response to which the police also had to open fire.
Family members rejected the police claim
Bharat Tiwari’s family members and villagers are rejecting the police claim and alleging that he was shot after surrendering. This matter has become even more controversial after a video went viral on social media, raising the question whether the rules laid down were followed during the police action.
