Together these films have done a business of approximately Rs 23 thousand crores. But these days a film has come which has earned much more profit than all these films. There is no big star in this film, nor is there a huge budget. Made with a budget of only Rs 7 crore, this indie film has done a business of Rs 750 crore at the box office.
We are talking about the indie horror film ‘Obsession’. The success story of writer-director Kari Barker’s independent horror film ‘Obsession’ is no less than a miracle. With every week this film is giving competition to the big guns and has earned more profits than them. With Prophet of 10 thousand percent, this film has been included in the list of most successful films of this year.

‘Obsession’ has completed 10 days in theatres, but everyone is surprised by the speed at which it is progressing. The film has done a business of 22 million dollars i.e. Rs 209 crore in North America. The film did not get much screen space, yet ‘Obsession’ continues to do wonders. The film is gradually increasing towards 100 million dollars i.e. around 1000 crores and that too within 10 days of its release. This film will become the third biggest film to do so in the world of indie films. Earlier, cult films like ‘Paranormal Activity’ and ‘The Blair Witch Project’ have done this charisma.
Michael – No one far away
Talking about ‘Michael’, this biopic of Pop King Michael Jackson has done a business of only 5 times more than its budget i.e. 788 million dollars (7 thousand crores). While ‘Project Hail Mary’ has so far done a business of 675 million dollars (6 thousand crores), which is only 3 times its budget, the Bollywood action spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has earned 200 million dollars (1900 crores), which is 17 times more than its budget. Talking about the cast of the film, Michael Johnston and Indi Navarrete are in the lead roles in ‘Obsession’. The story is about a music store employee, who falls in love with a girl named Nikki and he makes a wish that Nikki also falls in love with him. The film was premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, where it was well received.
