Statement record of Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao
Meanwhile, along with recording the statements of Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao, the SIT has also interrogated Champat Rai. According to sources, information was collected from Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao about the joining process of SBI Bank and outsourced cashiers. Both Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao said that we recently received information about the theft, for which it was agreed to investigate together with Champat Rai and arrest the accused. SIT has also interrogated Champat Rai to cross verify the statements of Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao. Sources say that the SIT team has currently gone back to Lucknow, but may come to Ayodhya again if needed.
SIT is also investigating from a new angle
According to reports, the SIT is now also investigating a new aspect in the case whether gold biscuits were made by melting the stolen Ram Temple ornaments, so that their identity could be hidden. Officials suspect that the accused may have melted the stolen gold and silver jewellery, so that it becomes difficult to trace the original jewellery. In fact, no trace of the stolen jewelery has been found so far, hence the suspicion of the police is becoming stronger.
