
Lakhs of railway passengers of North and West Delhi are going to get great facilities. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has accepted the request of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and approved the stoppage of two important trains at Adarsh Nagar railway station. It is being told that this will provide a lot of convenience to the tourists going to Himachal Pradesh as well as the devotees visiting major religious places of Punjab.
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said in her letter sent to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta that considering the letter sent by her, the stoppage of two trains at Adarsh Nagar railway station has been approved. Now Delhi-Kalka Express (14331) and Delhi-Daulatpur Chowk Himachal Express (14053) will also stop at Adarsh Nagar railway station.
Residents of North and West Delhi will save time
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on this decision, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the Delhi government is giving top priority to the daily needs and public facilities of the citizens. The stoppage of these two trains at Adarsh Nagar Railway Station will save time for the residents of North and West Delhi, make travel more convenient and relieve them of the additional hassle of traveling to New Delhi or Old Delhi Railway Station.
These passengers will get direct benefit
The Chief Minister said that the stoppage of Delhi-Kalka Express at Adarsh Nagar will directly benefit the passengers traveling to Kurukshetra, Chandigarh and Kalka. Also, this facility will prove to be very useful for the tourists going to various tourist places of Himachal Pradesh. Similarly, the stoppage of Delhi-Daulatpur Chowk Himachal Express will provide great relief to the devotees and passengers traveling to Kurukshetra, Fatehgarh Sahib, Anandpur Sahib and various areas of Himachal Pradesh. Especially traveling to important religious places like Sri Fatehgarh Sahib and Sri Anandpur Sahib will now become simpler and easier for the people of North and West Delhi than before.
CM Rekha Gupta said that the Delhi government is continuously working with the central government on every issue related to public interest to provide better facilities to the citizens. Approval of stoppage of these two trains at Adarsh Nagar railway station is an important step in this direction, which will directly benefit a large number of passengers every day.
