Now the actress has got approval from the Bombay High Court in this matter. Bombay High Court has now allowed the actress to file a substantive civil suit in any case related to deepfakes and AI. By doing this, she will be able to take action against those who violate her personality rights and try to harm her image. Earlier in this matter, Preity Zinta had said that there are many such AI generated deepfake videos and chatbots in which her images have been tampered with and many memes are viral in which her identity is mentioned in some way or the other and these videos have been made without her permission and this is also tarnishing her public image.
