during inspection drugs control The department observed that a batch of Oxytocin Injection IP 5 IU/ml (which is a temperature-sensitive drug) was stored at normal room temperature instead of the required storage conditions of 2°C to 8°C as clearly stated on the product label. This stock was reportedly kept in this position since it was purchased in May 2026.

Also, further necessary action is being initiated as per the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and rules.
