
The horrific coaching fire that took place in Aliganj, Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, shocked the entire country. 15 innocent people had died tragically in this accident. For the victims’ families, this is a wound that will last a lifetime. Now 5 more engineers and employees of Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) have been punished for their negligence in this matter.
According to the information, the government has taken action against the famous Assistant Engineer Sanjay Shukla of Lucknow Development Authority, Superintending Engineer Anand Mishra, Executive Engineer Shivendra Shukla and Junior Engineer Hemant Kumar. LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar has also suspended Beldar Harpal, posted as supervisor.
Bulldozer will run on the building
Now preparations are underway to take bulldozer action on the building that was involved in the fire. Demolition notice has been issued to building owner Virendra Shukla. It is being told that a notice has been served to the owner by going to the jail. The multi-storey building in which the coaching center was running was built without any rules and regulations and without security arrangements. Since there was no way out in case of emergency, this building proved to be a shelter for the children. After which the administration has decided that this illegal building will be completely demolished.
The blame fell on the first two engineers
The government is continuously taking action on the basis of irregularities and negligence revealed in the investigation of the fire. Earlier, Junior Engineer Pramod Pandey and Assistant Engineer Anil Kumar have been suspended. After investigation, LDA had sent recommendations for action against 18 officers and engineers to the government. In the first phase, two engineers were booked, while now action has been taken against 5 more people.
Till now action has been taken against total 7 officers and employees
The government is taking action first against those officers who are still in service. The process of both departmental inquiry and suspension has been initiated against the officers whose role was found suspicious. 15 children lost their lives in this tragic accident that took place on June 22. Negligence and irregularities have come to light in the investigation. So far, action has been taken against a total of 7 officers and employees in this case.
Post mortem report came out
Meanwhile, the post mortem reports of all the 15 children who lost their lives in the accident have arrived. According to the report, no deep burn or injury marks were found on the children’s bodies. Doctors say that the room was suddenly filled with poisonous smoke, due to which the children suffocated and lost their lives. Swelling was also found on the faces and eyes of many children due to the smoke.
