Railways has taken major action in the ‘honeymoon coach’ case of the train. Taking action in the matter, Chief Ticketing Inspector (CTI) Girish Kumar, posted on duty, has been suspended with immediate effect. Investigation has revealed that the decorator had entered the coach without permission. In such a situation, Railways has considered it a serious security lapse. Railways has ordered a departmental inquiry into the entire matter, so that it can be found out how the negligence happened and what further action should be taken against the people responsible.
Actually, the matter is that a coupe was decorated for the couple Shubham and Sonali, who were traveling in the first AC coach of Balharshah-Mumbai Nandedgram Express. According to reports, the decorator had boarded the first AC coach from Jalna station and decorated the coupe. Its video is also going viral on social media, in which the First AC coach is seen transformed in a grand romantic atmosphere. The video showed that the coach was covered with flowers, balloons and rose petals. The berth was decorated with rose petals in the shape of a heart, while fairy lights, candles, fresh flowers and an ‘I love you’ sign were also added.

Many people have compared this decoration to a scene from a Bollywood romantic film. Many users have praised the decoration but some people also raised the question whether such decoration is allowed inside railway coaches.
What do the railway rules say?
According to railway rules, no private person or decorator can decorate the AC or any other coach of any train without the permission of the Railways. If passengers want to decorate on any special occasion, they will have to first take permission from the Railways and can do so only after getting the permission. Actually, due to security reasons, entry of outsiders is not allowed in the train coach nor is there any decoration. Strict monitoring is maintained by the Railways regarding this.
