Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed the bhoomi pujan of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Smart Industrial Park in Satgarhi, Bhopal. On this occasion, he said that Madhya Pradesh is the only state with which Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee have a special relationship. This industrial park will be known after the name of the country’s first Industry Minister, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
Chief Minister Yadav Said that the industrial areas developing in the state will open doors of prosperity for our farmers also. Youth will get employment. Cotton producing farmers will benefit from the garment industry. Our government is working to connect farms to factories and industry to the market. Bhopal is a city of natural beauty and lakes, but now this smart industrial park will also become the identity of the capital.
New identity of Bhopal industrial city
Employment opportunities will be created in many areas. Bhopal is moving towards creating a new identity as an industrial city. He said that a new sunrise for the development of the state is emerging from here. Investors from the country and the world are setting up industrial units in every region of the state. Just yesterday, the bhoomi pujan of a big industrial unit in the defense sector at a cost of Rs 2,500 crore was performed in Shivpuri, Chambal. Before this, Morena has been given a big gift of solar sector.
He said that a cement plant worth Rs 2 thousand crore is also being built in Guna for employment based industries. The missiles to be made in Shivpuri will have a range of 1000 kilometers, which will be able to reach any corner of Pakistan.
Thousands of youth will get employment
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is also playing an important role in the matter of development in fulfilling the resolution of Developed India@2047. For the first time, a big event like GIS was organized in Bhopal, which received the blessings of Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Seeing the investment of more than Rs 30 lakh crore in GIS 2025, the opponents were in trouble.
Big industrialists and industrial houses from across the country and the world participated in this event. Due to the commitment of the state government, today out of the investment of Rs 30 lakh crore, investment of Rs 10 lakh crore has come on the ground. For the first time in the state, a new record of 30 percent investment has been made. In the farmer welfare year, from January till now, MoUs worth Rs 86 thousand crores have been signed with investors. Thousands of people will get employment across the state.
More than 15 thousand people will get employment in Satgarhi Smart Industrial Park itself. Before Rakshabandhan, the sisters of the state are also getting gifts every month. Till now, the state government has given more than Rs. 50 thousand crores to the Ladli Sisters under the Chief Minister Ladli Behan Yojana. Now if sisters work in employment based industries, they will get a separate amount of Rs 5000.
Law should be same for all
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had talked about ‘one country, one law, one mark, one head’. To realize this resolution, they are now moving towards implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state. The law should be the same for every section of the society. The people of the state have decided that UCC will be implemented in Madhya Pradesh under any circumstances. For this, the committee took suggestions from all religious communities so that no one is discriminated against.
Now Madhya Pradesh will become one of the big states of the country to implement a uniform law. With the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, we are moving forward in this direction. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today countries with big economies like America, Japan, Britain, Canada and South Korea are working with us. Madhya Pradesh has also received foreign investment of Rs 10 thousand crore from these countries.
The liabilities of small and medium industries have been abolished in the state. Remarkable progress is being made in every sector like electricity, water and roads. The distance from Satgarhi Smart Industrial Park to Rajabhoj Airport is just 25 kilometers. Rani Kamalapati station is also at a distance of only 15 kilometers. Bhopal’s Western Bypass will also pass through here. He said that a modern convention center with a capacity of 10,000 will also be built in the 25-acre area of Satgarhi.
This will be the largest convention center in the state. Madhya Pradesh will move forward rapidly with its industrial development and transparent system. Satgarhi area will be like a temple in the direction of industrial development. Sudhir Aggarwal of Sagar Group will invest Rs 100 crore in Satgarhi.
Madhya Pradesh will become number-1 state-CM
Minister of State Krishna Gaur said that Madhya Pradesh is becoming an industrial state under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Today, the ground breaking ceremony of Smart Industrial Park in Satgarhi of Huzur Assembly is a new gift, which was awaited for years. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav organized the Global Investors Summit (GIS 2025) for the first time in the capital Bhopal, in which many big industrial houses made investment proposals in the state. Now investment proposals have started appearing on the ground.
Madhya Pradesh has now become a leading state in the journey of industrial as well as agricultural development. Prime Minister Modi performed the bhoomi pujan of the first PM Mitra Park in Dhar of the state. Now Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate Satgarhi Smart Industrial Park. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has worked with balance in the field of development and public welfare. Madhya Pradesh will become an ideal and number-1 state with balanced development.
MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was the first Industry Minister of India. The Satgarhi Smart Industrial Park and Convention Center being built in his name will become the new identity of Bhopal. Bhopal, the city of ponds and lakes, is now becoming a center of industrial development. Satgarhi Industrial Park will create employment opportunities for the youth in many sectors. This park will directly provide employment to more than 5 thousand sisters in the garment sector.
The park is very important from strategic point of view
Raghavendra Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion (IPIP) and Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Madhya Pradesh, said that today’s Bhoomi Pujan is not just the inauguration of an industrial project, but is an opportunity to lay the new foundation stone for the industrial future of Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh. This smart industrial township located in Satgarhi is being developed in an area of about 70 hectares. The location of the park is very important from strategic point of view.
It is located at a distance of approximately 1.4 km from National and State Highways and has excellent connectivity with Rani Kamalapati Railway Station, Raja Bhoj International Airport and major urban areas. With this, Bhopal will become a center for traditional industries as well as new economy industries.
