
Bharat Innovates 2026: On the second day of Bharat Innovates 2026, a tremendous dialogue was seen between investors, startups, industry experts and research institutes from the country and the world. During this period, more than 80 deeptech startups presented their innovations to global investors. After meetings with more than 50 investors from more than 10 countries, more than 40 startups have received confidence for further investment. The objective of the program is to connect Indian innovation with global capital, technology and markets.
More than 80 startups showcased their mettle in front of global investors
The most important part of the second day of the program was the investor and startup dialogue. More than 80 deeptech startups presented their technologies and products to more than 50 global investors from more than 10 countries. These startups presented their solutions in sectors like space and defence, artificial intelligence, semiconductor, healthcare, medtech, biotechnology, agritech, energy, climate technology and advanced manufacturing. Through these presentations, startups got the opportunity to connect directly with global venture capital funds and corporate investors. During the event, more than 40 startups received assurances from investors for further talks and possible investments.

New technologies caught the world’s attention
The event started with a special Innovation Showcase, where Indian startups and large educational institutions showcased their new technologies. These included many new solutions related to biotechnology, semiconductor, healthcare, energy, space, mobility and artificial intelligence.
During this, Jalaj Dani, co-promoter and angel investor of Asian Paints, said that to make any new technology successful, it is necessary to connect it with the needs of the market and industries. Global experts and investors participating in the program also said that there is a need to take research to the market faster and increase international cooperation. In the panel discussion, Prof. of Institut Pasteur. Many global experts including Chetan Chitnis, Safran Riosc CEO Aurelie Giro, Thales Alenia Space’s Bertrand Denis, Gefas CEO Frederic Pariseau, Sony Innovation Fund’s Yoko Fukata and Mizuho Financial Group’s Sunil Bakshi participated.

Bharat Innovates 2026 has worked to connect Indian startups with big investors and companies of the world. By the second day of the event, more than 1,350 business meetings were held and more than 50 cooperation agreements were signed. Along with this, announcements related to investment and funding of about $254.5 million were also made. This event has created new opportunities for technology, investment and business between India and other countries of the world. On the last day of the program, topics like climate technology, technology park, startup accelerator and expanding business at the global level will be discussed.
