Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal along with CM Bhagwant Mann held a mega road show in Bathinda and thanked the public for giving the party a landslide victory in the municipal elections. Seeing the people gathered in the road show, Arvind Kejriwal said that the people of Punjab are very happy with the work of Bhagwant Mann government in four years. We are confident that it is certain that Bhagwant Mann will become the Chief Minister again in 2027.
They said that Punjab All the CMs who have been elected till now have been accused of corruption, but Bhagwat Mann has not been accused of even a single penny. If even a single allegation had been leveled against Bhagwant Mann or the government ministers, the Modi government would have conducted ED-CBI raids daily. On this occasion, many senior leaders including AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia were also present.
There are 4 parties in Punjab, Kejriwal’s taunt
During the road show, Arvind Kejriwal said that today on the completion of four years of our government, there is so much happiness on the faces of the people that seeing it makes the heart happy. We had come to work in politics and it felt great to see that even after four years the public was liking our work. In a way, the public has approved our good work by giving us a resounding victory in Bathinda. The visible happiness of the people in the road show clearly shows that today the people are very happy with the present government.
During this, Arvind Kejriwal also took a dig at the opposition parties. He said that today there are four parties in Punjab. There is a party which people angrily call Chitta Party. During his time Chitta was sold in abundance and he delivered Chitta to every home. People also call that party a sacrilege party with hatred, because there was a lot of sacrilege during their time. The second party is Jhagda Party, whose leaders keep fighting among themselves. The third party is the ED party, which threatens ED and imposes ED on people. The fourth party is Aam Aadmi Party, which is the people’s own party and works for the people.
Arvind Kejriwal said that there is discussion that now elections will be held in November instead of February. Only four months are left for the elections. Now we all have to do the same thing together. Bhagwant Mann has to be made the Chief Minister again. There have been many Chief Ministers and Ministers in Punjab in the last 75 years, but no one was as honest as Bhagwant Mann. All the Chief Ministers who have come till date have been accused of scams and eating money. Their families and ministers were also accused of corruption.
Huge mandate in favor of broom
At the same time, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, while thanking the people for electing Aam Aadmi Party as mayor of Bathinda, said that despite such terrible heat, people came out to cast their votes and when the ballot boxes were opened, they gave a huge mandate in favor of Aam Aadmi Party and Jhadu. He said that common man clinics have been opened in Punjab, excellent schools and hospitals have been built.
He said that children of government schools are now passing difficult tests. Electricity is coming to the fields during the day and canal water has been supplied to the dunes. These are the things that give real happiness. The remaining two-three parties have been making compromises among themselves. Aam Aadmi Party has won 19 out of 23 seats in Sunam. There, BJP, Congress and Akali Dal had fought together, but the public wiped out all three and swept everyone away.
Bhagwant Singh Mann told that this time the paddy being planted is being planted with canal water for the first time. Farmers can use as much water as they want, there is no shortage of water in Punjab. Bhakra Dam is running 16 feet above its average level. Even if we release open water every day, there will be no shortage of water in the dam for many days. There will always be plenty of water for the fields in the times to come.
