Bengaluru Viral Post: A sensational case of misbehavior and sexual harassment of a woman inside her own house has come to light in the country’s IT city Bengaluru. The woman alleges that a delivery agent forcibly entered her flat and showed (flashed) his private parts in front of her. The woman has shared this horrifying ordeal on social media, after which Bengaluru Police immediately swung into action and started investigating the matter.
While sharing the post on social media, the woman has given detailed details of the horrifying scene of that time. According to the woman, the delivery agent had come to her house to deliver a parcel. After giving the parcel, he asked the woman for permission to use the toilet citing emergency.
The woman wrote, “I very politely refused him several times and told him in clear words that I do not allow any stranger to come inside my flat. I also suggested to him that if there was an extreme emergency, he could seek help from the male neighbors living in the adjacent flat. But despite my repeated refusals, he forcibly removed his slippers and entered my house without my consent.”
Obscene behavior as soon as you come out of the toilet
The woman alleges that the delivery boy crossed all limits of decorum and law and carried out a very disgusting act inside the house. The victim woman told that when the man came out of the washroom, he exposed his private parts in front of the woman. The woman wrote in her post, “His actions made me feel completely shocked, humiliated and unsafe in my own home. When a woman had clearly said ‘no’, the matter should have ended there. No one has the right to ignore a woman’s boundaries or forcibly enter her home.”
Opened the main door due to fear, police took cognizance
The woman was extremely scared by this sudden attack and misbehavior and was apprehensive about her safety. The woman said, “I was badly scared. Fearing for my safety, I immediately turned on the camera of my phone, opened the main door of my flat completely and stood near the entrance gate myself. I was afraid that if anything went wrong inside, I would immediately run outside for help. We hear about crimes against women every day, so I did not want to take any risk.”
Bengaluru Police started action
After this post of the woman went viral on social media, Bengaluru Police immediately took cognizance of it. The police have officially contacted the woman and asked her to share complete information related to the incident and the details of the delivery boy so that the veracity of the allegations can be investigated and strict legal action can be initiated against the accused. Police officials say that they are gathering necessary inputs for a thorough investigation of the case.
