Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that West Bengal was 5 decades ahead of the country in education. Bengal had given many freedom fighters. Bengal has shown the way to the country in every field. Bengal was in the clutches of communist governments from foreign countries for a long time. Today, on an appeal by Prime Minister Modi, after 10 years of struggle, there is a BJP government under the leadership of Subhendu Adhikari and the Sonar Bangla movement has come alive again here.
According to ANI reportAmit Shah On Sunday, laid the foundation stone of the world’s largest curd production plant under the Amul Bengal Dairy Project in West Bengal.
Shah laid the foundation stone of this plant to be built in Howrah from Vishwa Bangla Convention Center located in New Town through digital medium. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shubhendu Adhikari and senior officials of Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets dairy products under the Amul brand, were present.
There has been change like no other place in Bengal.
Shah said that the change has taken place in West Bengal. That kind of change has not happened in any state after independence. Earlier the state was dominated by the foreign thinking of the Left for three decades. After that, TMC remained corrupt and ideologically bankrupt for 15 years.
Referring to his three-day visit to West Bengal, Shah said that the central and state governments held in-depth talks on important issues of governance. He said, “We have taken and discussed several steps in the last two days to stop infiltration, strengthen law and order and improve the safety of women.”
The Union Home Minister said that the proposed Amul Bengal Dairy Project will prove to be a milestone for the dairy sector of the state and will significantly improve the income of milk producers.
Development gained momentum in Bengal
This project, to be built in Howrah Food Park with an investment of about Rs 700 crore, will have the capacity to process about 30 lakh liters of milk per day.
According to an official statement, the plant will be able to produce around 1,000 tonnes of curd and other cultured dairy products every day. After its completion, it will become the world’s largest curd production unit.
The project is expected to benefit more than 1.25 lakh dairy farmers of West Bengal, including more than 30,000 women, the statement said. This will provide stable market for milk to the farmers and will strengthen the dairy cooperative network in the state.
