The spectacle of T20 league continues across the world. At some places the league has ended, at some places it is being played and at some places it is about to start. A similar T20 league was also played in Afghanistan, which was not much discussed. But all the big stars of Afghanistan cricket team took part in it. In this, star wicketkeeper-batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz showed his magic and became the best batsman of the tournament. For this he got the Orange Cap. But this award was special because Gurbaz got it from his father.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz and his father won everyone’s hearts in the Shpageeza T20 League organized by the Afghanistan Cricket Board. Gurbaz scored the maximum 410 runs in this league. For this, he was given the Orange Cap Award on the lines of IPL. But instead of any guest, Gurbaz’s father came to wear this award cap. Its video became very viral.
Although Gurbaz’s team could not even reach the finals of this league, this wicketkeeper-batsman showed why he is the best T20 batsman of his country. As far as the title is concerned, the league ended with the final on July 15. In the title match, there was a clash between Spin Ghar Region and Amo Region and here Amo Region won.
This final was not very high scoring. Spin Ghar batted first and scored only 166 runs in 19.3 overs. Ismat Alam scored the highest score of 67 runs for the team and returned unbeaten after an inning of 44 balls. Apart from him, star all-rounder Rashid Khan also scored 27 runs quickly. But this score proved to be insignificant for Amo Region and the team won the title by achieving the target in just 16.1 overs. For the team, opener Imran Mir scored the highest score of 71 runs, while Hasan Isakheel scored a quick 63 runs.
