Batwara 1947: Sunny Deol is returning once again to explode with action. His two films have been released so far this year and his next picture is ‘Bantwara 1947’. During the trailer launch event, the director told that Aamir Khan told him – “Write a script for Sunny Deol, then take him out and take me.”
Actually, Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol have done 3 films together so far. ‘Ghayal’ released in 1990 was their first picture together. This film was a super hit at the box office. After which came the turn of ‘Damini’ in 1993. The dialogue “Tarikh Pe Tarikh” of this picture became very famous and the film was also liked. At the same time, their third film was ‘Ghatak’, which came in 1996. It earned approximately Rs 32 crores at the Indian box office. After these films, they are coming together for the fourth time. During the trailer launch of ‘Bantwara 1947’, Rajkumar Santoshi praised Sunny Deol and Dharmendra. He also said that Sunny Paaji has made him the director, to whom he will remain indebted throughout his life. He was seen saying – “People say that when I write for Sunny Deol, whether it is a script or a dialogue, I do a good job. Aamir Khan himself even today says that you do good work for Sunny Deol. He says do one thing, write a script for Sunny Deol, but remove Sunny from the film and cast me later. Only then will a good picture be made. You do a very good job with Sunny.”
Actually, Aamir Khan is producing this picture under the banner of his production house. There is also discussion that Aamir Khan will have a cameo in the film. But till now nothing has been confirmed by the makers. It may be a surprise for the fans.
