The government has taken a big step regarding this app, the IT Ministry has given instructions to remove BAT BMS app from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This decision taken by the government has brought relief to the e-rickshaw drivers because such incidents will now be curbed and people will not be able to harass any e-rickshaw driver for fun.

After reviewing this Chinese app, the crackdown has been tightened, through this app some people are suddenly stopping the e-rickshaw in the middle of the way to have fun. Doing this is not only causing trouble to the e-rickshaw drivers but it could also lead to an accident if it stops suddenly.
The screws have also been tightened because the government’s entire focus is on promoting reliable and safe technology, and not on any technology that may create trouble or trouble for anyone.

This Chinese app was developed by Shenzhen Grenergy Technology. This app helps in wirelessly monitoring the charge, health, temperature and voltage of Bluetooth enabled lithium batteries. Overall, in simple language, this app works as a Battery Management System (BMS) interface, but some people have used it as a means of fun and harassing others.
