
Poet Bashir Badr Death: Bashir Badr, one of the country’s famous poets, has passed away at the age of 91. He was ill for a long time. Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar has expressed grief over his demise and also paid tribute to him on social media. The special thing about Bashir Badr was that he used to write poetry in simple language which went straight to the hearts of the people. The philosophy of his poetry was amazing which highlighted human issues and emotions. With his departure, a huge void has been created in the literary circle.

Bashir Badr’s demise is not only a sad news for the world of poetry but is an emotional loss for every human being. Love, loneliness, yearning and deep sadness were reflected in the poet’s words. Besides, his grip on relationships was also very sharp. His poetry in itself was the essence of the wounds and troubles of a common man, with which people could relate very quickly. Therefore, his couplets remained very popular in gatherings and were also used extensively in the era of social media. His poems were like the flow of pure water which became immortal by connecting with human emotions.
Today our language Urdu has become a little more poor. Bashir Badr, a very happy poet, left the party forever. This poet and his poetry will always remain alive in our memories.

Government of India honored with Padma Shri
Bashir Badr was also honored by the Government of India for his brilliant writing. He was awarded Padma Shri in the year 1999. Apart from this, he was also awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi by the government for his remarkable contribution to the world of literature. He has also been honored with the Sahitya Akademi Award for his poetry collection ‘Aas’.
Bashir Badr’s compositions will remain fragrant
Dr. Bashir Badr was born on February 15, 1935 in Ayodhya. He received BA, MA and Ph.D from Aligarh Muslim University. Had completed his studies. After this, he started his academic career as a lecturer in the same university. After this, he remained active as a lecturer and head of the Urdu department in Meerut College for about 17 years. He remained ill during his last days and sometimes rumors of his death even spread. Surely his fans would have wished that this news was also a rumour. But this juggler of the world of literature has now left us all, who will shine like a Kohinoor and whose creations will always remain fragrant.
