According to the report, sacrifices are continuously decreasing in Bangladesh. In the year 2023, 1 lakh 42 thousand animals were sacrificed on the occasion of Bakrid. Whereas in 2025 its number will come down to around 92 thousand. The figures for 2026 have not been revealed yet. Increase in inflation is being said to be the main reason for this.
