He played the role of Ram Amarnath Kapoor in this romantic drama of Ekta Kapoor. The show was telecast on Sony Entertainment Television from 30 May 2011 to 10 July 2014 and became people's favourite. According to reports, at that time Ram Kapoor used to charge around Rs 1.25 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh per episode for 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain'. For this reason, he became one of the highest paid TV actors of that era. It is said that Ram Kapoor used to shoot for about 15 days in a month. According to this, his monthly earnings reached approximately Rs 18.75 lakh, which was considered a huge amount in terms of the television industry at that time. Ram Kapoor was among the few TV actors who got more fees than the show's lead actress Sakshi Tanwar. 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' not only gave him a new identity, but also included him in the list of television's most successful and highest-paid actors.
