Imran was last seen in ‘Haq’, which was released in theaters this year. In this, Yami Gautam was seen in the lead role with him. People liked this courtroom drama a lot but still this film failed to attract the audience to the theaters and proved to be a flop at the box office.

This will be a supernatural musical horror film, due to which Emraan will return to the horror genre after about five years. The film will be directed by Mayank Sharma, while Rooh, made under the banner of Wicked Films, is being produced by Vikram Khakhar and Sunny Khanna. ‘Rooh’ is expected to be released in theaters in 2027.
Now it will be interesting to see whether ‘Awarapan 2’ will be able to end Emraan Hashmi’s 14-year long drought or his flop streak will continue. However, the great response received by the teaser has definitely indicated that Imran’s craze among the audience is still intact.
