
The issue of theft of offerings in the Ram temple of Ayodhya is a hot topic these days. Meanwhile, the action of UP Police has intensified. Today the police is raiding the houses of all the 8 accused including Ramshankar Yadav alias Tinnu. All these 8 accused are in jail in the offering theft case. It is being told that several police teams are searching the houses of all the accused.
According to the information, on Sunday (June 28) at around 7 am, the police raided the houses of the accused. Six police teams raided together and interrogated the family members of the accused. Along with this, the properties and documents found in the house were also examined. Apart from this, information was collected by talking to neighbors also.
Interrogated the family members
It is being told that the police had reached the house of Anukalp Mishra, Luv Kush Mishra, main accused Ramashankar Yadav alias Tinnu Yadav, Manish Yadav, Karunesh Pandey and Rama Shankar Mishra. However, during the raid, Tinnu’s house was found locked. The police searched the houses of the accused and recorded the statements of the family members. During the operation, police force remained deployed at the entrance of the houses of the accused, so that there is no interference in the investigation and the entry of unauthorized people can be prevented. Lis believes that a part of the stolen offering can be recovered from the house of the accused.
8 accused were arrested
On June 25, 8 accused including Tinnu Yadav were arrested after the first FIR was registered on the complaint of temple trust member Krishna Mohan. On June 26, the CJM court sent the accused to jail for three days. After the matter came to light, Tinnu Yadav’s name was continuously in the headlines.
Resignation of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust confirmed the resignation of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra. Trust Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri said that the resignation letter has been received. We will consider this in our meeting to be held on July 11. We assure those devotees who have offered silver bricks and gold and silver jewelery in the service of Lord Shri Ram, all those things are safe. Meanwhile, there is news that today Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Trust Treasurer Govindanand Saraswati will hold a press conference. During this, he will present his side on the issue of donation/fund irregularities.
The case of alleged theft in the temple came to light on June 7. The UP government had constituted a SIT to investigate the matter. The SIT submitted its preliminary report to Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad on June 23. After this, on June 25, the first FIR was registered on the complaint of trust member Krishna Mohan. In this, 8 people including Ramshankar Yadav alias Tinnu were named. Meanwhile, on Friday, Temple Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra resigned.
